Turn sound off during movie

I want to add a button on a flash movie that would turn off the sound if the user wanted to. How would I do that?

I'm learing flash right now and I just had a baby so the announcment is in flash . If I had the time to research it I would but if someone could point me in the right direction, it would be very much appreciated.
