MIS
Greetings-
Please help me find my way... I need WebView turned on, but can't seem to find the setting, even with the answer staring me right in the face in Tech Doc. This article refers to turning OFF this view on Windows SharePoint Services 1.0 and I'm using 2.0 but I'm hoping it's still relatively the same to reverse the setting:
Problem:
When Microsoft Office 2003 users work with my document library, I want them to see a list of folders and files, not a Web page, in the Open and Save dialog boxes.
Solution:
To turn WebView (WebView: One of the views available in Open and Save dialog boxes. Displays a Web page with hyperlinks for opening and saving files in document libraries.) off for all the document libraries in your Web site, do the following:
On the Tools menu, click Site Settings.
On the Advanced tab, clear the Display a web page view of available document libraries to Office users who open from or save to the web check box.
Is this talking about in Office2003, or in SharePoint? I can't find it in either place.
Thanx
OregonSteve
