Hi,

I have an email address on an Exchange 5.5 server that we still want to receive the emails sent to it, but we want to send an NDR back to the sender... Does anybody know how this can be done? We want to get the emails, but pretend we aren’t.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

On the 'Internet Mail' tab of the IMC properties page, click the 'Advanced Options' button, then check the option to prevent automatic replies to the internet. This should prevent delivery and read receipts from going out. Otherwise, you can't have the system generate an NDR for a message that has actually been delivered.
