Help... got a new Norstar phone system. Can't figure out how to turn on call log.

1. I have my extension set to "log all calls".
2. When I try and view the log, I get "No log assigned"
3. In the reference section, it says to go into the "Featr" section to set up the log space. I do not seem to have a "Featr" section in System Programming. I imagine this is part of the problem? This is a brand new CICS norstar system. I'm trying to figure out a lot of this myself and I can't get this one. Thanks!

In system programming you go to feature settings then hit next to you see call log space hit show or top right key you will see reset all logs you hit yes then you will see space/log you enter the amount of logs you want to have. ex.there is 600 logs on system so depending on the sets you would have to divide the 600 into as many sets that would be your amount of logs. Then you will see your set start to log as long as you turned on call logs on that extension in user preferences. hope i was a help

Well that is what I thought, but when I go into system programming, I do not have a "Feature Settings" grouping.

Is it possible that that grouping has been disabled somehow?

if you log in to programming you should hit next to you see system programming then you hit show then you hit next till you see feature settings if you do not see a menu that sais system programming that would be the first time ive ever heard of that problem,

i have never heard of disabling a menu in programming

I figured it out...

There are 2 password for our system, one is "Admin" and one is "Config"

I was using the "Admin" password, which only gives me system coordinator privileges within programming. As a system coordinator you do not get access to the "Featr" set.

When I used the "Config" password, then I was able to access the Featre grouping.

I'm so proud of myself!! LOL

Were proud of you to, maybe you can show us something sometime.. Cheers
