Hi All,
Our small theatre has been using our Partner ACS System for the last 12 years... we've decided to switch to Verizon Business Voicemail for our voicemail services since we need more versatility than our existing ACS System can provide without spending more $$.
We programmed the new system, and the original intention was to have the new system pick up after 4 rings and change the ACS system to pick up after 9 rings, essentially putting it in second position while we tested the new Verizon system to see if we liked it better.
Unfortunately, that didn't work and we can only get the Verizon System to pick up if set to not ring at all (0 rings)... which won't work for us... so, I've been tasked with figuring out how to deactivate the ACS Voicemail System, at least temporarily.
Looks like the voicemail system is on a card in the wiring closet... can I just unplug the voicemail card or is it more complicated than that?
Thanks,
Marc
