Turn off scandisk on boot

Can anyone tell me if you can stop scandisk running on boot up? it annoys the heck out of me.

Any help appreciated.

Well it is whatever one loads when it boots up. I know on Windows 98 you could switch it off when you booted using Tweakui which I loved.
