We want to unmask credit card customers names but when we do that in POS Config we get PCI errors. It is not a PCI violation to unmask the names. Does anyone know how to turn off the PCI error?

You can't disable them.
I'm pretty sure PCI rules don't allow customer names on the credit card vouchers.

PCI rules do not require you to mask the customers name, I already looked into that. It is a "best practice" but it is not a rule. You can disable it in Micros 4.11 but we are running 4.6 and you get the pci error when you shut it off. Thanks.

It may depend on the credit card driver you're using. I have fifteen restaurants on Res 4.11, three on Res 5.2 and two on Res 4.9, and the options to mask cardholder and name is disabled on all of them. The one constant is the transaction vault CC driver.

I'm sure you have a reason for wanting the cardholder name, but honestly if I saw my name on the voucher I'd complain to the manager and not return to that establishment, at least not with a credit card.
