Thanks
so much

Bill

Yes, delete 'holdmusic.wav' found in the Manager program folder and reboot the IP Office.

alternatively you could unplug the music source from the IPO

Points to remember though:

If there is no internal or external MOH source - caller hears silence when on hold (sounds like you've hung up).

If you have the 'holdmusic.wav' in your manager directory, it will get uploaded to the IPO when you reboot it FROM YOUR PC. This disables the external MOH port on the back of the main unit.

If you have no 'holdmusic.wav' file when YOU reboot - then the audio input on the back of the unit is re-enabled.

Remember, if someone else reboots the IPO (without a 'holdmusic.wav' file) - or it loses power - then the 'holdmusic.wav' file gets deleted from the main unit and the external port is back in service.
