Hello,

I have an option 61c with an Octel 250. The problem is when a caller (typicaly one of our sales people) dials our toll free that rides in on a PRI ask to be transfered to their voicemail and the last four of the phone nunmber the caller matches a mailbox on the system other than theis they get mis directed.

i.e. Joe Smith is DN 6000 and is calling from 111.222.3456. He asks to be transfered to voicemail (auto attendant - users press # then their mailbox number then password) and instead of getting to the auto attendant mailbox he gets dumped off at John Doe's mailbox - 3456.

What I would like to do is turn off the external CNID for the digital phones that plug in to the integration module. Is this possible?

Thanks,

gumpus

you should check the config notes for your integration type - I don't see anything about CNIA in the config notes I use so you should be able to change the sets. Depending on your integration (if your ports are ACD) you may need to restart the ports after the change as it could log them out.
