Is there a way to turn of an IMMEDIATE DIVERSION on the console. Rather than manually turning off at handset? Would be very useful.

Would the swapping of extensions with IEX have problems if one extension was set to divert to the other?

Sorry, misunderstanding. When I say console, I mean terminal through MMI commands.

RFD "extn" N

Will clear the divert for the extn number entered

"Anything that’s invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary, and you can probably get a career in it.
Anything invented after you’re thirty-five is against the natural order of things."

From the terminal there are two commands which I believe are only avalable after ver 8, I think it was avalable at ver 7 but only as a patch, they are:-
LUCF = list user controlled features.
RUCF = revise user controled features.

Besides being handy commands, not many people know about them, they are mainly used by an engineer on an upgrade, because the diverts, ring tone no reply etc are only 'soft' commands these would be lost on a restart, reload etc.

RID is the command for immediate divert, RFD is forwarding divert.

rid
FROM EXTN:599
TO EXTN:609
EXT?:y
INT?:y

The above puts an immediate divert from 599 to 609 for external and internal calls

rid
FROM EXTN:599
TO EXTN:n

The above cancels it.
