I am trying to set up the following configuration.
In one network:
HTPC running Windows 7 with Boxee
NAS with movies, music, photos
Laptop running Windows 7
Macbook running Snow Leopard
There are several websites not available on this network, hulu.com being one of them. However, on a separate ISP, I have a server that can access these sites.
I would like the HTPC to be able to access Hulu (through Boxee) and the NAS at the same time. Also, the laptops to be able to access Hulu with minimal load on the server side - they would only use the server to access Hulu, but all other traffic would be through the normal channels. I have looked into split tunneling (VPN) and proxy servers. I need opinions on what would be the most time and cost effective.
