Hello Guru's,

I hope I can explain this well enough so here it goes -

We have a remote site that is connected to our HQ via a layer 2 gig connection through our ISP. Our connection through the ISP is not going to change. I need to expand the amount of vlans I can use at the remote site but I am stuck using the current ISP L2 setup which only allows untagged traffic through from 1 vlan.

My question is what can I do to work around this limitation?

Buy two 5505's and VPN between sites?
Buy a router for the remote site and EoMPLS across (already have a router at HQ's)?
ect?

I appreciate all suggestions or ideas, Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion unclerico.

Unfortunately the costs associated with changing the SP's configuration is expensive. I am told that they would have to upgrade their hardware and we would get stuck with the bill, so we are looking for other, cheaper alternatives that we could implement without needing to change the SP's network.

haha, you have no idea how much I have been pushing for it this last year. Unfortunately I don't get to make those decisions.
