Yes, I figure that the answer to this is in one of the myriad of books I have on the shelf but I thought I'd get some help here too.

I'm a relative "newbie" (but still considered as the "expert" here - scary) and our system which is accessed via web interface went "live" last week. It is designed for use by K-12 teachers so it won't start to get a lot of use for 2-3 weeks still.

Anyway, here's my question....

As the users start to access the system, we would like to work on fine-tuning the Db/environment/web coding by finding out which actions are done most often (select, compound selects, insert, etc) plus which ones are taking the longest time to complete.

Are there any views, tables, queries, etc that will get me this info?

Thanks!

E.

Check out this free application that was posted here not too long back:

It has a ton of queries that you can run against your DB that will tell you a lot.

BTW, the thread was thread186-110262 and was posted by HotMale(?) Terry M. Hoey
