Tungsten e2, win 7 cant find drivers

So Im attempting to get my wifes e2 to synch with outlook 2k7 on my win 7 64 bit pc.
I know the win 7 64 is a strike against me but Im confident it should work.
When I attache the tungsten e2 to the pc, it attempts to load the driver for the device, but fails and cannot locate it. It does list in device manager but with the !.
Any ideas on what driver it might be looking for?

I guess ill need to synch it with my XP/outlook vm, then export contacts and calendar then import into win 7 and Outlook.

As Palm has pretty much dropped PalmOS support... I guess using an XP workaround might be the option till you can upgrade the PDA
