I need to sync a Tungsten E2 to Outlook just once so that I can get rid of the Palm. I can get it to sync to Palm Desktop (6.2) just fine. When I try to sync to Outlook 2007, I get a message saying that the sync was aborted because it was unable to create an exception in Outlook for a non-existent appointment item. I have installed the Outlook 2007 conduit updates and I even have the same problem syncing to Outlook XP. I've tried a hard reset on the device but that didn't help. Tried on three different PCs and I get the same result. Contacts sync without a problem, it is just the calendar that won't work. It does sync a few items, but when it hits this phantom appointment, it fails. It isn't an issue with private records or anything like that.
If I can't get it to work, is there a free way to export from Palm Desktop and into Outlook?
