TTY

I have 2 TTY ports that will not enable. They are PTY's and LD 37 will not let me enable.

Both tty's are dsbl. I did have an issue with my lan connection and I did correct the problem.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

PTY will be dis until a connection is made.

correct the only time you see a enable is whenthey are connected. that's not an issue just normal for that type of port...johnP

Also, if you have MMail in an Option 11, TTY 8 will be disabled until you do an AX session to the MMail, which if you then look from another TTY will show it enabled.

What type of switch is it, and how are the TTY's built, if they are not PTY's.

those tty's work if their like mine, you only see the enabled when your virtualed into the switch
