Hi Guys,
I have 81C system,The guy who is managing Billing S/W named as (Telman) is facing issue , that J25 port of each Core gives output as only when it is active , while for budgeting we need a port which gives output 24/7 basis.I also checked J13 ,J21 , J15 all they are unserviceable .While J14 is used for CDR working fine. Now as we had alloted some budjet to each of our subscriber and at particular budget NCOS of that particular ext change automatically by this budgeting s/w.So if J25 is connected to that core which is not active and is standby mode then budjeting does not takes place.

Queastion.
1. How can i made the TTY ports(J13 ,J21 & J15) serviceable.
2. How can i dedicate any port which work 24/7 for telman manager irrespective of which CPU(Core ) is active

Sounds like you require an SDI output for CDR which needs configuring in your CFN (Configuration)Software

your referring to CPU (Cores)J21 and J13/J15 SDIPaddleBoard all physical connections which you suggest one of your ports J14 is actually configured for CDR and dip switches set accordingly off the SDIPaddleBoard?

Check LD 37 / .STAT TTY

.ENL TTY X (Enables)
.DIS TTY X (Disables)

Cheers!!

After getting stat i found tty 14 DSBL , tried to enable that but in vein, still DSBL,
I need any port which should work 24/7 irrespective of which CPU is active.

This TTY being disabled may be the normal state, unless your CDR software is pulling data from the switch. We use TM3.2 and when it goes to the PBX to pull traffic it goes in on a dedicated TTY. This TTY always shows as DSBL when TM3.2 is not actively pulling records.

no matter where you go, there you are.

Don't get confused with what's configured and your physical positions...TTY 14 doesn't necessarily mean J14...As FireBird requests lets have a look at whats programmed on your ADAN's please

Cheers!!

I got that TTY 14 is used by Element Manager so when this port is in use it shows enable .Now pl tell me how can i check that which physical port (J13,14,15,21,25 ) against which tty , also tell me i have two tty ports which are giving no data ,How can i rectify those ports.

Question Repeated.
Now I got that TTY 14 is used by Element Manager so when this port is in use it shows enable .Now pl tell me how can i check that which physical port (J13,14,15,21,25 ) against which tty , also tell me i have two tty ports which are giving no data ,How can i rectify those ports.

Your QSDI's relating to your Quad SDI PaddleBoard, addesses and speeds are set on it's DIP switches, TTY Numbers configured in software with USR defined. These are physically connected via 'Ribbon Cable' to J13, J14 & J15 QSDI ports 1,2 & 3 Remembering port '0' usually dedicated to your SystemMonior 'XSM'

Your TTY14 is programmed in software as a PSEUDO (ELAN) connection

Cheers!!

Manually trace the ribbon cable from the J slot to the paddle board. If you can see the DIPs, you will need to read them, to determine what is physically attached to that port. Wear your glasses and have a flashlight.

no matter where you go, there you are.

I got that ribbon cable and reached from where thay r coming , now look only J14 ie tty 2 is working is working , while tty 1 & 3 are not working , now tell me how can i rectify these tty ports .
