My company is using an older version of a management software package that only supports reports done in CR 8.5 or lower. I’m trying to modify one of the canned reports that came with the software. Instead of directly linking to the dbs in the package, this report was designed using a ttx file. I’m not sure how to use this file or if I can modify it in a text editor. I don’t see how it links its fields back to the actual database.

There are fields in the db that aren’t in the ttx file. Will typing the fields into the ttx file make them active? How do I make the fields I put in the file link back to the actual db fields that I want?

Thanks for your help.
