hi,

i'd like to know if there is a ttable's property that tells me when the current record is modified.

i tried to use the MODIFIED property, but it's not working.

thanks,

levogiro.

levogiro,

Well, the Modified property is the documented way to do it. It certainly seems to work with local tables.

Note that it doesn't return true unless the user has actually hit a key while the record is in one of the editing states (dsEdit or dsInsert).

Now, support may depend on the type of table and database connection you're using. Can you provide more details?

hi,

i'm using MS SQL Server.

here is the process:

when a user is inserting a record, i don't to check its state, only when a record is being modified, because i have to change de value of a specific field.

i'm sorry if my english is a little (?) confuse. i don't use it very often.

thanks.
