tsweb vbscript error + disconnect code 2308

Hi experts,

We are having major hassles with terminal services from external sources. If i connect to tsweb while sat on the LAN i can connect and it runs with no issues. However if i connect to it from a external source (remote users), they report being disconnected within a few minutes with the error. vbscript disconnected error 2308. it happens for all users all the time. that error indicates a closed socket, but my knowledge of that is limited.

can anyone help ?
