TSM DB,LOG MIRROR

Hi,

I would like to know are there any advantages by doing TSM level DB,LOG mirroring rather than Hardware or O/S level mirrors.

No, it is just for protection. If you already have RAID protected drives, there is no reason to mirror the DB and Log

Supposedly the TSM level mirroring is safer. It is considered to be the best practice to let TSM do the mirroring.
