TSM and IBM 3584 LTO Library

Anybody any experience of using TSM 4.2.1 with a 3584? We use a RS/6000 F80 as the server and our 3584 has 6 drives, the problem appears to be that LTO is too good! The reason is that i am seeing anything between 200gb and 500gb per tape with compression which is good till you come to do reclamation and that can take on average two hours per tape even with the threshold set at 95%. The result of this there is never enougth time to reclaim tapes so you end up having to hold far more tapes in the library than you would expect. We are planning to install two extra fibre attached drives in an attempt to crack this problem.

We use an IBM 3494 w/TSM 4.2.2 and spin through the tape on the reclaimation process quite quickly.
