We have an IBM Content Manager OnDemand instance that stores its files using the TSM system. The issue we are experiencing is that the files listed in the index of the Content Manager system can not be found on tape. We recently replaced our tape library and had some backup related issues. We would like to know if there is a query that can be performed to see what documents are still on tape for the Content Manager pool. We are having a hard time understanding the relationship of document name to what actually gets stored on tape. We need to determine a method to perform an audit between the two systems to determine what is really still there.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Do you guys use backup or archive for this system? You can try a
"select * from archives (or backups) where node_name='YOUR NODE'"

If I remember correctly, the ll_name will be the file name. The hl_name will be the path or instance name.

To see the column names in the backups or archive table you can do a:

select colname from columns where tabname='ARCHIVES' (or BACKUPS whatever you need)

It also depends on your TSM setup. I think it has to be set up similar to DB2, where COD will expire files thru the application rather than letting TSM expire. If TSM expires the files, you will have a mismatch and get the 'not found' on COD.
