Hello,

I have a little question...about TSM AIX

I would like to know if it's possible to restore some files from an AIX client to a windows client?

When i restore some files from an AIX client to an AIX client, it works with the virtual nodename option set.

When i restore some files from a windows client to a windows client, it works fine too.

But when i try to restore some files from an AIX client to a windows client, i see the filesystems but not the files, so i cannot restore some files!!!

Someone have an idea?

I don't think it's possible. You have to restore the file on a same platform and transfer it (ftp for example) after.

Directories are stored in the TSM database but not on tape
