TSE corrupted license key

my company ask me to check the alarm 4 code 121 "corrupted license key" in their TSE 2.1?how can I reload the license?
 
Check existing license
MDSH> license_status

Display license details
MDSH> license_print –file /etc/opt/eri_sn/lic.dat

Replace license file and reload in LIM1 only
MDSH> license_reread
MDSH> start -system - Soft start, does not disrupt traffic

will I need a new license file? ,,ericsson guy did visit the site with TSE but he didnt made this command on TSE,,he suggest for hardware/software upgrade..
 
he suggest for hardware/software upgrade.. " of course he did. Apart from being very old, TSE version 2 was not very good. If upgrading is an option, then I would recommend that also however I guess that is not an option or you would not be asking the question.

Check the licence file is readable with the license_print command above; if it is OK then try to reread it. If not you will need to restore the backup copy of the licence file and reread that....sorry just my little joke, of course you don't have a backup.

I doubt very much that you will be able to get a new licence file from Mitel (They will also recommend an upgrade)

Incidentally, the license file is tied to the MAC address of NIC 1 of LIM 1 server, has this or the server been changed? If yes, then the licence file is no longer valid, even your backup copy. Good luck.
 
i dont remember anything older than v3 and that was decades ago - you need to upgrade it
