TSDM question on HP4K V8R1

I was finally able to update my system from V6 to V8. My TSDM software is finally working, but it seems to have issues. The most annoying thing at this point is that after a software update on my 40Ts, several say "NeedToReboot" for their status.

I have rebooted the PEN, and I have rebooted the phone manually, with no effect. I've stopped and restarted TSDM. I've regenerated the entire list. All with no effect. I've done the Updat AMO with no effect. Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas?

Hi.

No effect means only that devices are in status NeedToReboot under TSDM ?
Or also device SW ver/firmware was not upgraded ? (check via RMX -> SBCSU:OPTIDAT)
Are you sure that affected devices firmware is supported for V8 R1 ? (check TDM release notes - "Compatibility matrix" chapter)

Check TSDM config on RMX:

Check under Linux (root/engr) that tsdm_server is running properly or not:
ps -ef | grep -i tsdm

If you already didn't, do this :
On TSDM appl -> Admin menu -> "Restart Server and Delete Cached Files" and "Restart Server and Delete Jobs" sub menus.

Do you have any DVCFIG=VIRTDTE,DPROT=SBDSS1 among affected devices (SBCSU)?
If yes:
ACT-DSSU:ONTYPE=ANL,TYPE=STNO,STNO=....;

If error still present, under Linux, restart most of services:
procadmin -tg MPCID
procadmin -sg MPCID
