TSAC web client remote conncetion error.

I am trying to use the terminal services client activex control. When I connect from inside the lan it works great but when I try to connect outside the lan it gives me error code:516 WinSock socket connect failed. I can't find much help with this on microsoft's site.

Never mind, I just read that TSAC works through port 3389 just like terminal services client. Why even put it on the net?
