Hello,

We have Stack-Lims with PU4DC and REU in Mag0. After Upgrade to TS3.1 in all other magazines Ring-Signalling for analoge phones is missing. This leads me to the question, how Ring-signalling works normally and how it is distributed from the magazin 0 with REU to the other magazines in same LIM?

We have only two connections between the magazines:
1. LSU-DSU-cable
2. PU4DC-PU4DC-cable

I think option 2 is the needed distributioncable. But then I ask me, why we have the problem now? If it is only a physical cable-connection, then it should be release-independent... If option 1 is correct then I would understand the problem. LSU is replaced by LSU-E. And this is a new card and does not support the distribution of Ring-signal. Please advice.

you'll need option 2 offcourse.

E///'s ultimate goal was to ged rid of the old analog boards and have them replaced by ELU34 (which has ring generator on board)

PU4DC was replaced as a service advice from E/// wasn't it?? Didn't they used to catch fire?

no they were revised (/A revision or something like that), offcoure you have the newer PU5DC.
