Imagine:

LIM1: MG classic with 1xESU, 1xIPLU (for GS-function), 1xELU34 (for dig. extension)

LIM2: MG classic with 1xESU, 1xIPLU (for GS-function), 1xIPLU (for IP-extension)

If dig. ext. calls IP-Ext.: What is the media-stream and which DSP-Ressources are used?

Hi,

mediastream will be:

DIG - ELU34 - IPLU LIM1 - IPLU LIM2 - IP phone

I left out LSU-E and DSU.

so each lim will consume 1 rtp resource.

I believe 1 lim has 72 rtp resources.

please do note that IPLU is only used for rtp resources not for IP phones, they register on the ESU.

You agree, that I need two IPLU in LIM2 and if so, which IPLU in LIM2 is giving the rtp resource? "GS"-IPLU or "Extension"-IPLU?

no you only need one IPLU (for GS function)

ok. But how can you think, a LIM could have 72 rtp-ressources. If rtp-ressources comes from IPLU we can have only 32=1xIPLU or 64=2xIPLU and so on!? Or do I completely misunderstand?

i think you confuse mgc/tsw with mx server. 72 rtp is for server lim with mg not tsw lim.

oops my bad,

parnum is right :)
