I'm trying to use an HP EliteDisplay E220t, with an RDC. Can't load the TS drivers.

Not sure, if it's because...the unit, is USB 3.0; and the RDC doesn't support 3.0...and/or, because the necessary driver, needs full OS, and not the CE client that is the RDC.

Thoughts? Thanks!

OK...so I guess the issue here is, what monitors will work with the Embedded CE 6.0 drivers.

I just hate the thoughts...that only ELO, will work with these things.

I think the E220t is out; but has anyone used an alternative to ELO successfully?

OK...I ditched the "outside-of-the-box" HP E220t; and went for an ELO (an iTouch 2201L).

Hooked this up, to my RDC; and still no touchscreen response...which I don't understand, because (purely by coincidence)...this is the same model Oracle Hospitality/MICROS sells on its store
The Win CE installed on the RDC, has built in ELO drivers. I suspect a compatible driver, needs to be loaded...for the 2201L

There are a whole bevy, of drivers for this monitor...depending on your "OS"
But I can't translate, which would be right...for the Win CE 6.0. Anyone have any experience here, that can help?

Thanks,

FYI...to answer my own question; and perhaps provide the info for other...

A) I guess buying off-the-shelf touchscreens, is unlikely to work. Needs to be compatible, with the Embedded drivers...in an RDC's Win CE 6.0

B) My feeling is the 2201L, requires the RDC with XP. The 1919, seems to work with the "standard" Controller.
