Trying to test new PRI

Now,I have a new PRI brought in from verizon. I have the sig channel and trunk group up, everything is in-service/idle.

What I would like to do is test outbound calling on that trunk group. Is there a procedure to setup a new dial access code to get to that group? Just some way to test outbound would be a good start. then i will have to find a way to test the single inboun DID they gave me.

I'm running CM on 8800s

Any help is much appreciated.

Create a new route pattern with that trunk group in it as the only choice (change route pattern x).

Then change the ars analysis table to point a number to the new route pattern. It can be your cell phone or home phone number. Make sure you include the dial string the way the carrier wants it (10-digit, 11-digit, 7-digit).

Put a trace up on your station (list trace station xxxx) and place your test calls.
