trying to take form input, create excel file and email it

Hello.

I have been able to successfully create a html form. Then, I can also take successfully this html form input into an asp page and create it into an excel file that then opens up to be viewed.

However, I am trying to research how to get this excel file to be added to an email. I do know how to create form input into asp and write html which can be emailed using cdonts.

But I do not know how to get this excel file into an email as simply as possible.

Any thoughts.

Do you need to make an .xls or can you get by with a .CSV ?

take a look at

especially at the server side generation stuff, once the file is created, save it on the server and then you can use that with CDONTS.
