I am new to this. Did some reading and had some one on one training, but its never the same when you try it yourself.

I printed my tn and dn
I out my 2008
I tried coping from another tn that has a 3904
but I am unable to complete the copy becasue the dn is not unique? any ideas?

Two option here. Do the copy as a unique DN and then change Key 0 to the DN you want to use, or simply build the phone from scratch.

The printout of the existing 3904 would give you everything you need.

Hope this helps,

from list pick a DN and use that with the copy command and then change the DN to the one you want.

Sounds like the DN you want to use is also assigned to another set. Be sure to say Yes to MARP when you re-assign this DN to the 3904

old trick, finish the copy with a vacant dn, then do the echg..
