Hey all,

So to cut to the chase, I already unchecked auto config and auto detect settings in IE's connection tab. This is only happening on one PC.

Now this has partly to do with Citrix, the whole error is:

cannot connect to the citrix metaframe server.
proxy connection failed: Internal error during proxy evaluation

I'm almost certain IE is reffering to a proxy. Online searches show that upon loading IE may be referencing a WPAD file or some java program to load it. This is a broadband connection but there are old dial up connection. I removed their proxy connection and never dial a connection is chosen. Any ideas would be really helpful.

Start, Run, regedit

Check the value here. If the key does not exist create the key, and give it a DWORD value of 0 (zero):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
Key: ProxyEnable
Valuetype = REG_DWORD
0=Disable the use of a Proxy
1-Enable use of a Proxy
