I have an issue where the audible ringback from a nt8d14 universal trunk card is conflicting with incoming caller id data burst which is sent between the first and second ring of an incoming call. The loop start trunk is bridged to a recording application which also documents the caller id info. The ringback occurs at the same time as the caller id data burst and causes it to fail to register on most calls. Does anyone know how to stop this ringback or to filter it out.

Let's define:

Ringback = what you hear in the handset when you call someone before they answer.

Ringing = What your phone does when it is called. Also what your trunk card detects so it can alert you of a call. From a CO, it is generally 90VAC at 20Hz.
