I must get the form to work on a server that does not have FP extensions. Yes, I have no choice.
Have set form properties to
Custom CGI
Action: /cgi-bin/formmail.cgi
Method: Post
Hidden Fields-- recipient/ with email address and a redirect to thank you page

Tried to set "allow scripts to be run" under properties under Folder view, but the box is shaded out where I can't check it. Have spent hours at Microsoft site and in books.

I know the web host has to set up a CGI file permission on Monday, BUT will this work???

If you have set the action and it is pointing to the right location, then frontpage needs to do NOTHING! You need the permissions on the the perl script (formmail.pl) set to be read and execute for other and group and read, write, execute for owner. You can do this in most FTP programs by right clicking on the script in the bin and choosing chmod, set the pemissions and save. DeZiner
