From our Lotus Thick Client, we are trying to forward a message to an Octel user connected by way of our Interchange & Message Networking Server.

The receiver of the message gets the following voicemail:

"one or more components of this multi-media message could not be delivered -please contact the sender"

The whole message (the preamble and the forwarded message) was played though.

Thoughts...?

Thanks,
CJH

So are you saying that they did hear the message after the intro from the MNS.

Yes, but it then states that message.

When you send it from the client it is also putting text in the message and the octel can't read it so that is why it is stating that. I think there is a way to make it stop but i will have to look it up it has been a few months.

Great - Thanks Ken!

Ken,

Any luck with finding how to stop the header information?

Thanks,
CJH

I have not had time. I think it may have to do with the fact that if you send it from the client it always puts some text in the body and subject. Can you try it without a subject?

Will take a look -

This sounds familiar to an issue I worked. I ended up speaking with T3 for the IXC who explained that there are reserved mbx numbers wholly within the IXC that the IXC uses to send this "kind of attachment". Not sure if I am way out on a branch here with your specific complaint though.
