OK I select windows 2000 and it see's the other server, however when I tried to drill down it asks for a log on - put in the domain admin and it keeps saying failed to connect to agent - any tips?

Are you using the syntax:

DOMAINNAME\AdminUser

when specifying your username? -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"

Yes - I thought that was it too but sheeeet no!

Rigsby,

Just check if the Client agent service is started on the remote server???
If it isn't , start it and try again...
if it is running- recycle it and try..
If both fail..

open the Client agent admin... and set the security to
password security...
recycle the Agent service..

try connecting from the ARcserve manager,, this time put in only the password and leave the username blank..

Cheers
