Trying to run Autocad 12 DOS under Win2000

Is this possible? I am finding that Win2K is most unfriendly to DOS programs. In Win98 I had the ability to establish my own DOS environment for DOS programs. Has anybody been successful configuring this scenario?

I am sorry but NT,WIN2K,and XP do not use DOS as their base OS anymore. You may have some luck with WIN ME but I wouldn't know for sure.
