Trying to run a DISTINCT on one column of my query but will not work.

Not sure if this is the right place but I'm having problems with using DISTINCT against one column in my query using informix database. I need a DISTINCT


element that doesn't reoccur in my results in my query but doesn't work for some reason when I try to apply it to one column. Anyone else having problems with it or have any suggestions

Check the key words in your sql. If not reply with the sql what you entered.
