I had to rename my server and re-install Exchange, using Exmerge I was able to get all the mailboxes restored, except 1, most of the messages were put back but several were missing.
When I try to do a restore from tape I get the message unable to restore mailbox to \\oldervername\mailbox
I have tried to redirect the restore is an alternate mailbox and entered the correct mailbox name only for the job monitor to show that the tape is loading then queued and then loading again.
How can I restore the missing messages?
