trying to restore exchange 2003 mailbox - remote agent not installed

due to resources we were forced to install our veritas 11d on our exchange 2003 server.

I had a user delete all their emails before they left the company, and now they want me to restore that persons emails.

sounds simple enough, i browse thru the backup, find the mailbox, emails are there.

but everytime I try to do the restore I get the error that "remote agent not installed", well, that is because the remote agent ISNT installed, since it isnt needed on the server running veritas.

how do I get around this?

Checked both of my backup exec servers and both of them have the remote agent installed. So I think it installs automatically when backup exec is installed.
