Backup Exec 12.0 Rev 1364
Exchange 2007
An Exchange user account on our system was deleted from Active Directory and a few days later I was informed that they needed to get some old emails out of the associated Exchange Mailbox.
I went through the BackupExec restore wizard and can see the mailbox in question and all of the individual messages. I tried to restore the mailbox by selecting the "Recreate User Account and Mailbox option" but I keep receiving an error during restore.
Error category : Resource ErrorsError : e000848c - Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.
For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-33932
I have tried using the Administrator Account for the domain to accomplish this task and the resource test passes as successful.
Is there anything else I can try to restore this mailbox? Or at least for the time being is there a way that I can lock that specific backup file from being overwritten so I won't lose them and can restore them at a later date?
