I know I shouldn't be using rcp anymore, i should be using rsh, but it's an internal network, no security needed.
I have several UNIX (mainly Sco) boxes that I can rcp to and from, but it doesn't seem to work in Linux (SuSE 7.3)
the error is Permission Denied, i'm not doing it as root, and have tried from both ends. I have the machines defined in the hosts files, and the access defined in the hosts.equiv files on both machines.
Is there a service that has to be turned on that is off by default like the telnet services are.
Thanks
