Hi all,

I just had the Xupiter problem. I cleaned my registry and disk myself, pretty much the same way that most of the doc I later found suggests. I've been trying to put Xupiter on my restricted site list. I can of course put the main url on there, but when I try to put sites that come up in the drop down search list, such as I get the "site you specified already exists in another zone" error. It doesn't, as far as I know.

Is this another nasty trick that they play, or is there something I don't understand about IE Restricted sites? Either way, I much appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Bob

when putting sites in the the restricted zone it is based on domain (ie. xupiter.com) and while on the domain the restritions will be applied. therefore when I put in my restricted sites and click the "defualt level" button, any page on the cnn.com domain will not have 3rd party scripts ran. (no pop-ups) among other settings.

you put it in once so it is already there.
