Trying to print note cards double sided

Several times a month I create 4x6 note cards with speaker notes on them for my boss before a briefing. The last several times he has asked that the powerpoint slide he is briefing be put on one side with the notes on the other side. To do this, I make screenshots of the slides, then put them in publisher on the note cards. My problem is that when they print out on double sides, they are lined vertically, but horizontally off about 1/2 inch. I tried it on several different printers, ones that print double sided, and then again on printers where the paper has to be manually turned over. Can anyone help me figure this one out?

Have you checked the print margins?

And I have to ask - is being off a little on speaker notes really a big deal?
