Im trying to prepare to install SQL Server Reporting Services on both nodes of my cluster. According to the documentation, Microsoft .NET Framework is supposed to be resident on the machine. It doesnt seem to be there. I have looked in Windows Add/Remove Programs >> Add Windows Components, but Im not seeing what I need. How do I go about getting this package installed? Also, ASP.NET is part of the .NET framwork, correct? Thanks !!

I am not an expert on SQL Server Report Services. However, to get .net on a server. You have two options. 1. Install visual studio 2. Install microsoft .net redistributable

You will want to check the SQL Server Reporting Services documentation. .NET has three version 1.0, 1.1 (2003), 2.0 (2005). The 2005 is brand new. Most likely it is 1.1 found in the link above.

ASP.NET runs on a server that has .NET framework. ASP.NET also requires IIS to be installed on the server.
