Guy's, Gal's, People, creatures,
I have calls from Main 200 pointing to X221 Reception if no answer forward to Hunt group 300 all phones. (Works great)
What I would like to do is give X221 the option to forward to Auto Attendant that I built but not sure how to point calls to it?
I know short codes are involved but they confuse me and I'm pretty sure it's going to be one of these codes.
9X*800X"AA:"N".00" Thru 9X*851X"AA:"N".11"

Give ext 221 a buton to set the hg out of service.

At the huntgroup, set the oos destiniation to the auto attendant. (ie AA:Incomming)

I think you mean *84XX/Auto Attendant/"AA:"N".4" which is used to record the greetings and would not be used in this instance to forward to the AA.

Older versions you had to create a phantom user that was forwarded to a shortcode that forwarded to the auto attendant:
*7999/Auto Attendant/AA:Day
Phantom user 7999 forwarded unconditionally to *7999
Group OOS or Night Service set to the phantom user (even older versions you have to have a phantom group)
Give X221 a button that sets HG 200 to Night Service or Out Of Service (where ever you put the destination for the AA)

With R11 (and I think R10) you can simply set the OOS or Night Service destinations directly to the Auto Attendant as Okkie26 suggested.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
