Does anyone know of any documentation that will help walk me through the migration process? I tried to compile my VB5 application with VB6, and it gave me a compile error on a line that uses Left... That's pretty basic, so I'm wondering if there are some things I need to set or adjust before I try to compile under VB6. Thanks.

Francesco Balena's Programming Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 (Microsoft Press) gives some very informative guidelines and warns of several pitfalls when converting from VB5 to VB6. Difference between a madman and a genius:
