Trying to make "hidden object" game function

I am making a kids game and need to know how to get the page to go to the next frame after two images have been found in the main image. It will be like a "Where's Waldo" game. I have two buttons that the child will mouse over and a character tells them what the color and shape is they need to find. I then placed movie clips of those images into the picture. When the mouse clicks on the correct images the game will advance to the next frame. Any suggestions would be helpful. It has been suggested using event listeners on the images but I am not sure how to write it.
